   ocr: Again the chord starts with the root note (A), and stacks the 3rd MHJUR and 5th notes on top. AN Triads (or Major chords) are just the beginning. There are several different types of chords. For eHample: Minor, 7th, Diminished, Hugmented, etc. Each type of AB( (C#) J E F# G# A chord has its own unique symbol. - AB I Minor chord is written simply as Bm. AL D Augmented is written D+. The next card will show you the symbols of some common chord types and how they are "built".
